Who is this training designed for?
Health care professionals wishing to educate themselves on the essentials of medical aesthetics or to enhance their knowledge of facial rejuvenation using injectables.
The course will take a deep dive into the relationship between the anatomy of the region being treated and state of the art best practices when using neuromodulators and fillers.
Course directors: Dre Geneviève Blackburn & Dr Andreas Nikolis
The training will offer both didactic and live-injection as well as a hands-on workshop with patients. The course will also provide the necessary tools to develop the trainee’s facial assessment capabilities in a systematic fashion. The goal of these components is to develop the ability to combine the art and science of facial aesthetics for truly unique and safe outcomes.
Emphasis will be placed on achieving a harmonious global aesthetic outcome. To develop these skills, we will further break down the face into distinct facial thirds, in order to develop the understanding of the relevant layer by layer anatomy and region specific requirements for facial rejuvenation.
Developing the proper aesthetic roadmap requires a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy and the impact of neuromodulator and filler use. The development of unique and personalized treatment plans, sequencing of the treatments and intervals between them, are all necessary components in managing patient expectations and exceeding promised outcomes.
Doctors Blackburn and Nikolis will share their personal philosophies in developing the patient aesthetic journey in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They will provide a stimulating and interactive platform to share their knowledge and techniques in achieving safe, efficacious and balanced results.
